OFHS Computer Group Meeting   -   Searching Beyond These Shores

This page is intended to accompany the talk "Searching Beyond These Shores" given by Christopher Fance to the OFHS Computer Group meeting on August 4th 2014. Christopher has provided a set of links to all the web sites mentioned, plus an extensive list of sites for Australian research, that we only had time to touch on briefly at the meeting. The latter were provided by his distant cousin who does some work for the Society of Australian Genealogists (SAG) in Sydney.
Links to well-known sites such as Family Search, Ancestry, Find My Past and Cyndi's List have been omitted here, since these can already be found on the regular page of OFHS links at Finding Your Ancestors on the Internet.

As with all links on past meetings pages, these represent a "snapshot" of the web at the time of the meeting and will not be updated. It is inevitable that over time some of these links will "break" as web sites change. In such cases you may be able to use the Interent Archive web site ("Way Back Machine") at http://archive.org/web/ to view the site as it was in August 2014.
